Women In Sugar eNetwork

Connecting women in the sugar industry nationally

Pace_gardens_2The e-network aims to bring together women from all sectors of the sugar industry to access information and share knowledge, through the distribution of a newsletter via email, and the use of a web page to facilitate discussions and store information relating to women in the sugar industry.

The Women In Sugar e-network was developed from the CSIRO & UQ research on the role of women in the sugar industry in 2007, funded by SRDC.

The aim of the newsletter is to connect, and keep informed the women in all sugar growing regions across Australia. We want this to become a publication that is relevant to all women in all sectors of the sugar industry including growing, milling and industry bodies.

We are currently putting together a database of contacts who may be able to contribute to the newsletter so if you know anyone, male or female, don't hesitate to let us know.

Another integral part of this project is our web page which will have the newsletter of the e-network, plus information from various "Women in Sugar" groups on the net.

We do ask that people related to this industry become members in order to receive the newsletter and other relevant information as it becomes available. Membership is FREE!!

In order to receive the newsletter and/or to receive relevant email information, please request an application form by emailing us.

We would like to acknowledge Bundaberg Sugar Ltd for their contribution in helping make this Website happen.
