Women In Sugar Herbert called WISH is located in Ingham, north of Townsville in North Queensland. The group was formed in 1998 originally called DEFOS (Develop Education with Focus On Sugar) It was formed for the purpose of helping educate and inform the local sugarcane growers and their husbands. WISH hosts a Forum in March each year.
